Urmston Carpets is one of the largest independently owned carpet shops in Manchester, offering premium carpets, laminate flooring, vinyl flooring and accessories at exceptional value for money.
The brand’s local reputation as a long-established business, with a varied choice of products, and dedication to customer service didn’t translate well on their existing website. Their outdated, cluttered and unresponsive website was hard to look at, and even harder to navigate.
We understood how important user journey was as consumer shifts in behaviour look to digital. Knowing the website must be an extension of the client’s impeccable reputation we created a completely modernised version of the website, while staying true to the original colour scheme and branding. Pages were optimised for search engines and we simplified the layout of content to ensure it was informative and easy to read.
Our in-house designers also incorporated icons and a scrolling text banner as visual anchors to direct the customers’ attention to their USPs, with a selection of flooring images from the warehouse and recent projects that highlight the quality of their products.
